Professional High Quality Stage Lighting Manufacturer
Quality Control
Tealshine Stage Lighting Quality Control (QC) & Testing Standards
At Tealshine, we believe that exceptional stage performances rely on absolute equipment reliability. As a professional stage lighting fixture manufacturer, we enforce a strict, multi-stage Quality Control (QC) system. From component sourcing to final shipping checks, every automated luminaire undergoes comprehensive testing to ensure it can withstand the physical rigors of global touring and complex theatrical installations.
Incoming Quality Control (IQC) & Material Pre-Check
Before any component reaches our production lines, it must pass rigid quality threshold evaluations. We inspect 100% of the raw materials that define our fixtures’ structural and optical integrity.
LED Sourcing
We run spectral analysis on high-power emitters sourced from premium brands like Tianxin to verify color temperature, color rendering index (CRI), and luminous efficacy consistency.
Optical Lenses
High-precision lenses undergo refractive index checks to guarantee a light transmission rate exceeding 92% with zero physical deformation.
Robust Housing & Chassis
Cast aluminum parts and steel brackets are stress-tested to ensure structural strength and perfect alignmaent.
Certified Battery Packs
For our battery-powered event lighting fixtures, we strictly utilize lithium-ion battery packs that carry certified MSDS and UN38.3 test reports, eliminating shipping compliance barriers and securing maximum on-stage operation safety.
In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): 10 Rigorous Performance Tests
During assembly, every fixture is subjected to a comprehensive battery of 10 structural, electrical, and functional checks.
Optical & Color Calibration
- Luminous Output Check: We test the center lux intensity, beam angles, beam uniformity, and field spot quality of every fixture.
- Color Rendering Accuracy: We verify color temperature (CTO/CTB) accuracy, average CRI, and color performance consistency across all lighting fixtures.
- Color Mixing & Gobos: We test the blending smoothness of CMY, RGBL, or RGBA+UV color-mixing setups. We also inspect the clarity of static and rotating Gobos, rotational prism effects, and pattern vibration behaviors.
- Dimming & Strobe Stability: We verify smooth, flicker-free 0% to 100% dimming curves and run high-frequency strobe speed testing.
Precision Mechanical Motion & Thermal Management
- Pan & Tilt Sweep Calibration: Automated moving heads are tested through their full range of movement to verify limit switch positions, motion speeds, scanning smoothness, and physical positioning precision.
- Homing & Reset Accuracy: We trigger manual and automated reset commands to verify that all internal gear motors return to their precise origin calibration points.
- Decibel Noise & Heat Dissipation: We measure decibel levels of variable-speed fans and verify the thermal dissipation efficiency of the aluminum heat sinks under peak operating loads.
Multi-Protocol Control & Signal Verification
- DMX512 Control Accuracy: We test fixture address patching and responsiveness to standard DMX signals across all operational channels.
- RDM Bidirectional Feedback: We test full remote device management capabilities, validating remote address modifications and real-time parameter feedback loops.
- Network Protocol Integrity: For luminaires equipped with network interfaces, we test the data stability and packet loss rates under heavy sACN and Art-Net network loads.
Smart Wireless & Remote Connectivity
- Wireless DMX Signals: We verify wireless DMX transceiver range, signal pairing speeds, and signal transmission reliability under simulated wireless interference.
- WiFi APP Control: We test local wireless connections and control smooth command execution using dedicated WiFi control APPs compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.
- IR Remote Control: For our portable par cans, we verify IR remote control range, command receiving sensitivity, and mode-switching speeds.
Battery Safety: 3-Cycle Charge & Discharge Testing
- Full Cycle Battery Aging: Every battery-powered fixture undergoes a strict pre-shipment battery testing process, running through three complete charging and discharging cycles to verify actual capacity, charging speed, temperature stability, and overall cell consistency.
Dynamic Waterproof Testing
- Waterproof Protection: For our outdoor architectural fixtures, we run high-pressure water spraying and immersion tests to verify IP-rated sealing and prevent water ingress.
Electrical Safety & High-Load Endurance Testing
After passing mechanical and physical assembly checks, every batch of luminaires enters our heavy-load testing facility.
- Continuous Burn-in Aging: All finished fixtures are kept at full power and continuously operated for 8 to 48 hours to check component heat tolerances and eliminate infant mortality failures.
- Wide Voltage Adaptability: We test the integrated power supplies with fluctuated input voltages to verify active Power Factor Correction (PFC) efficiency and safety margin tolerances.
- An-Gui Safety Compliance: Every luminaire undergoes high-voltage isolation checks, including Hi-Pot testing, grounding resistance tests, and leakage current measurements to ensure electrical safety.
Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) & Secure Packaging
Before our shipping crew clears a purchase order for delivery, the outgoing quality team validates branding, labeling, and protective packaging compliance.
- Silk Screen Printing: We run final quality audits on custom branding elements, verifying the durability, placement, and ink adhesion of all custom logos applied via high-precision silk screen printing.
- Waterproof Serial Labeling: We affix a durable, waterproof serial number label containing a unique tracking barcode to the rear panel of every fixture, ensuring seamless asset and rental inventory management for the end buyer.
- Heavy-Duty Logistics Protection: Depending on client shipping preferences, we pack fixtures securely into custom-fitted, shock-absorbing flight cases or heavy-duty cardboard box packages lined with dense protective foam structures.
Stage Lights Transportation Vibration
Address critical B2B logistics issues—such as internal screws loosening, wire connections detaching, and optical lenses shifting out of alignment—caused by the rough conditions of cross-border ocean freight and long-haul trucking. Showcase fixed-frequency and swept-frequency vibration tests using a 3-axis vibration simulation table. Highlight the seamless integration of custom high-density shock-absorbing foam within your flight cases and box packages to ensure optimal protection.
